why does everything i draw turn into crocodile in some way or another
i really hate circlejerks, more than a lot of things. it’s probably one of the chief things that angers me about the SJ movement, because the subjects and actual identity/societal issues aren’t what’s important, it’s the fact that everyone wants to shut themselves off and lock away all dissent so that nobody has to take them out of their comfort zone
it’s why i left a lot of groups, friends and websites, because the atmosphere made it feel like it was better to just sit back and agree with everyone, instead of having your own reservations and opinions
i’m not saying it’s wrong to agree with someone, but if EVERYONE agrees all the time then there’s something seriously wrong, and you need to reconsider if staying wherever you are is really good or not
i love my friends because it doesn’t feel like i’m just stuck in an echo chamber of my own opinions
more often than not, someone’s going to disagree with me, and i’m very happy for that
i’ve had my views and opinions challenged a fair amount this past week or so, and it’s always left me with a lot to think about
so thanks, guys, for disagreeing with me

when i was a kid i thought the air guitar was an actual instrument
like some guitar with a big tube of air or some shit
growing up on bill and ted, i thought they were actually making the noises when they made air guitar movements
i thought that was a thing you could actually do, play music without instruments by moving your arms a certain way
i thought that was the coolest thing ever…
